Summary - Archer C2600 v1.1 reboot via SW doesn't work correctly
Task Type - Bug Report
Category - Kernel
Status - Unconfirmed
Assigned To -
Operating System - All
Severity - Medium
Priority - Very Low
Reported Version - All
Due in Version - Undecided
Due Date - Undecided
Details - Device: Archer C2600 v1.1
Versions: Trunk/17.01
Steps to Reproduce: perform a reboot via any of the SW interfaces (CLI/LuCI)
On v1.0 hardware, everything works as expected. On v1.1 HW, the router hangs until rebooted via HW or a power cycle.
The issue has already been diagnosed and is due to the new flash chip used on the v1.1 hardware. There is an error in the setup to the addressing setup that prevents it from coming up after a SW reset.

Dissen1 has made a patch for it, and Heinz had made custom builds with that patch that have fixed the issue, but it hasn't actually been submitted yet. Another user has tested a recent build and found it still present: https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?pid=350917#p350917
