libhttp-parser is not part of the LEDE base system. It is maintained as part of the (external/additional) [[https://github.com/openwrt/packages/tree/master/libs/libhttp-parser|packages feed]] which has its own bugtracker. Do not get confused by the fact that it is in the OpenWrt repository. The packages feed is compatible to and used by OpenWrt as well as LEDE.

Would you please open a bug report at https://github.com/openwrt/packages/issues to make sure that the appropriate people get aware of the issue.

It should be enough to update the package to the latest version. The bug is already fixed upstream: https://www.github.com/joyent/http-parser/commit/0852bea482e0842b0445c14b19dc9b318a6c4eba
