Sorry for the late reply guys. I had some busy days.

@Piotr

I don't like the idea of using 0 as equivalent to MTDPART_SIZ_FULL in the device tree. The device tree should describe the hardware and setting a size of 0 definitely doesn't reflect the hardware. Using a MTDPART_SIZ_FULL binding would be fine but such a binding was [[http://lists.infradead.org/pipermail/linux-arm-kernel/2013-June/175759.html|rejected]]. I couldn't find any device tree source file in the kernel sources which uses a partition size of 0. Using 0/MTDPART_SIZ_FULL seams to me a no go.

@camel

FS#683 is an issue with the wireless driver. I'm somehow sure this is duplicate and we have a similar bugreport already. But I'm to lazy to search for.

FS#676 this is for sure a duplicate. There are known issues with some flash chips of 16MB+. There is a Pull Request which doesn't work, it was discussed multiple times on the LEDE mailing list and there is for sure a ticket (should be about and Archer but is the same issue).

I'm building images at the moment and will provide them in a few minutes.
