[FS#644] WiFi fails with AP & Meshpoint interfaces

Checked with latest trunk commit (SHA: cffeb31107) but problem still exists.
Test output as below.

Note that the "channel" line is missing from the 'iw dev' output for the second interface which indicates that this interface is not actually working.
