The following task has a new comment added:
FS#190 - Build broken since RFKILL patch?
User who did this - Koen Vandeputte (xback)
----------
Retested using patch from Felix: 71144844e109bbf0ef62984eeadabbf5702a1cee (kernel: add missing config symbols)
Still fail with exactly the same error:
I have to enable the following kernelconfig flag in order for the build to succeed:
- CONFIG_RFKILL_FULL=y
So Basically:
- When enabling general RFKILL support and the kmod package in the main config, it actually still isn't built (hence the "Fake" ..) and mac80211 fails to compile.
- You have to manually enable rfkill_full in the kernelconfig to fix this.
Doesn't seem logic to me .. or am I missing the point?
Would it be possible to add a suboption to the master rfkill flag that enables the rfkill_full option?
Thanks all,
Koen
