Details - I'm testing booting from initramfs-kernel.bin on BTHOMEHUBV2B, so I've downloaded https://downloads.lede-project.org/snapshots/targets/lantiq/xway/lede-lantiq-xway-BTHOMEHUBV2B-initramfs-kernel.bin and booted from it (via uboot/Porta-Danube prompt).

I know it's booting ok, because the output on my serial console looks good.

There's no ping response from 192.168.1.1 however.

ifconfig output via serial console looks ok.

If I repeat exactly the same procedure using https://downloads.openwrt.org/chaos_calmer/15.05.1/lantiq/xway/openwrt-15.05.1-lantiq-xway-BTHOMEHUBV2B-uImage-initramfs instead, all is good (i.e. I get a ping response).

The failing version is the most recent i.e. it's from yesterday evening, "05-Oct-2016", md5sum: d7c223a3d2c7d747226dc1f8466b3436 sha256sum: ebb45be638bcec956b9bc58936a368a0d0e5fa24450207470445da1004c52e37

Mathias - if you want to ssh into this (as before), just let me know.

Many thanks, Jaime
