Yes, please open a ticket at https://github.com/openwrt/luci. It's still possible that the underlaying issue is a LEDE one, but I've no idea how LuCI gathers the interface informations.

By the way, you seam to have missed that I've asked for the /etc/config/network from your EA8500. Having this file should make it easier to reproduce the issue. Please provide this file if you open a bugreport at the LuCI bugtracker.

Please provide a screenshot of the LuCI interfaces page for OpenWRT CC 15.05 (working) and LEDE head (not working) as well. It might help to understand what you are talking about.

I'll close this ticket for now. Please reopen the ticket if you have tracked down to a LEDE issue.
