isolate is set to 1 in /lib/netifd/netifd-wireless.sh at line 259

Packets are still being sent from STA to STA via the bridge and not at a lower level.

This probably should be documented in the wireless UCI config docs as the isolate feature probably won't do what people expect.

PS. should've noted that security details in the original post are not real before anyone comments :)
