A new Flyspray task has been opened. Details are below.

User who did this - Juliusz Chroboczek (jch)

Attached to Project - LEDE Project
Summary - Support for devices with 8MB RAM
Task Type - Bug Report
Category - Base system
Status - Unconfirmed
Assigned To -
Operating System - All
Severity - Very Low
Priority - Very Low
Reported Version - Trunk
Due in Version - Undecided
Due Date - Undecided
Details - We still have a number of old Foneras, which make great 802.11g mesh nodes. Their main flaw is that they only have 8MB of RAM, OpenWRT AA is the last version they can handle, with later versions they crash as soon as the wireless is brought up.

I realise this is a fairly exotic request, but it would be helpful if LEDE could support 8MB devices. A very minimal userspace would fit our needs, as long as WiFi and PSK2 can be made to work.
