[FS#54] /proc/asound missing - Task opened

Details - Have built latest code (r1009) for Linksys nslu2 and TPlink Archer C7 V2. Shairport-sync (openssl), kmod-usb-audio, and alsa-utils were compiled into the build.

Sound does work fine but the /proc/asound directory is missing.

Have compiled the latest trunk of Openwrt and /proc/asound exists using exactly the same options in make menuconfig.
