Task Type - Bug Report
Category - Base system
Status - Unconfirmed
Assigned To -
Operating System - All
Severity - Low
Priority - Very Low
Reported Version - Trunk
Due in Version - Undecided
Due Date - Undecided
Details - I noticed forum discussion about this and then found the error message also in my own system log:
Mon Dec 19 18:07:33 2016 user.notice : iptables v1.4.21: can't initialize iptables table `raw': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?)
Mon Dec 19 18:07:33 2016 user.notice : Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.

This is likely due to the recent commit 970dd4dd58 that split out iptable_raw into a separate package. Apparently something still wants to initialise the "raw" table. This error message in the system log may be pure cosmetics, but it looks strange for users.
