Just as an information: The root cause has been identified and a fix has been proposed on the [[https://patchwork.linux-mips.org/patch/14627/|linux-mips mailing list]] as well as [[https://github.com/lede-project/source/pull/580|LEDE]].

As soon as they hit lede/source the issue should be resolved. Please be aware that additional issues are addressed [[[https://github.com/lede-project/source/pull/577|1]]] [[[https://github.com/lede-project/source/pull/579|2]]].
