Can you propose a specific patch which we can discuss? Yes, so far some people thought about that but due to lack of time, hardware and specific use-case nobody did it. Also keep in mind that once you enable certain ASM instructions they need to work on *all* CPU flavors using this specific compilation flavor of OpenSSL.
