Hardware used: Gateworks Ventana GW5200 series

This device has 2 serial ports exported for user custom slave devices.
ttymxc0: GPS receiver
ttymxc1: Iridium modem

ttymxc1 is a port which is shared with the console (by manufacturer design)
This is also the reason why the modem is attached to this one, as it does not send any data by itself until actively accessed.


I just tried booting with the modem detached from the port and the spamming has indeed vanished.

I've been testing/debugging this device all day long yesterday, and the messages appeared for the first time after building this morning with 4.4.19.
