I am detecting similar Wifi dropping problems as mentioned in ID#34, but other device base. It's an JCG JHR-N926R based on raMIPS/Ralink RT3052.

As long as connected Wifi clients won't create heavy traffic, clients can use the wifi connection somehow. There are random disconnects/reconnects shown in the router log and reported by the android clients (weak wifi).

If a clients (standing beside the router) creates only little surfing traffic LuCI webinterface shows collapsing RX TX bitrates down to nearly zero, immediately. After stopping the traffic RX TX rates are rising back to high values over 100MBit/s.

A few Speedtests or a few IPERF3 tests with the N926R as server breaks the Wifi connection. It is still seen, but no connection is possible anymore for any devices through WiFi (//see system logfile: ieee80211 phy0: rt2x00queue_write_tx_frame: Error - Dropping frame due to full tx queue 2//).

For image creation I used the Image Generator only adding LuCI and IPERF3.

I attached a ZIP file containing some router backup config files, system log, kernel log and iwlist.

Right now the router is in the faulty state. I will let it run till tomorrow for possible console requests to be tried out.

THX
Michael
