hwsim tests failing

Hi. I am trying to run the hwsim tests, but some tests are failing. My 
current platform is Debian 12 with kernel 6.17.6 in VirtualBox. I have 
disabled NetworkManager and system wpa_supplicant. Running as root. Wrt 
mesh tests, all tests are OK except:

Exception: Test exception: CAC did not start
FAIL mesh_secure_ocv_mix_ht 11.861 2025-11-06 18:57:59.906384

When trying run-all.sh, I also get failures such as:

Exception: Roaming association rejected
FAIL ap_ft_many 6.248867 2025-11-06 19:07:29.329772

Exception: Roaming with the AP timed out
FAIL ap_ft_over_ds_separate_hostapd 12.298549 2025-11-06 19:08:34.024685

etc. 

Thus I am wondering, should I use another platform, or what can be the 
cause for these tests failing?


PS. http://buildbot.w1.fi/hwsim/ returns 404.
