wpa_supplicant can´t connect to wpa2/tkip wifi with empty real essid

Dear Supporters of wpa_supplicant

   We are debugging problems with a wifi in Italy at bugs.mageia.org and 
as it appears wpa_supplicant may not be able to connect to a wifi with 
empty real essid and properly set OWE transition mode essid although the 
ciphers shall be supported.

   Lately I have also supposed that wpa_supplicant not wanting to 
connect to this wifi might be related to something else: Could the 
problems be because I wanted to connect with WPA2/TKIP instead of 
WPA/TKIP or WPA2/CCMP? How to connect with GMAC-256, GMAC-128 or CMAC? I 
haven´t found a valid configuration file using this, yet.

   I would really appreciate it, if you could advice me or have a closer 
look at the debug output of wpa_supplicant in bug 30857.
