Locating Group Client From Group Owner

Hi Jouni,

Wouldn't invitation request start group formation? I wish to ping the peer and hear a response without initiating any sought of connection. This is one of the reason I was looking at SD_Req. Correct me if I am wrong.

Ah, I see. Those are not group clients to me yet in that state; simply P2P peer devices..

I would use P2P invitation to request a specific peer device to join the group. See p2p_invite in wpa_supplicant/README-P2P for more details.
