AW: Get IEs from Scan result

Ok thanks for your help.

But up until now, I don't understand when a new association is requested to a AP which I want to connect.

In a background scan (e.g. simple background scan) there is only data handled from several probe repsones.

But where is a decision set which AP I want to connect?

See the struct wpa_scan_res documentation in src/drivers/driver.h for
details on where the IEs are stored. For most purposes, the
wpa_scan_get_ie() and wpa_scan_get_vendor_ie() helpers should be used to
fetch an IE.
