wpasupplicant and WEP

Hi Folks

I have problems connecting to a WEP network using wpasupplicant

I tested some more and from the birds eye it looks like

1) connection without encryption works
2) connection using WPA/WPA2 works
3) connection using WEP with alg OPEN appears to associate, but does not
see a dhcp reply
4) connection using WEP with alg SHARED does not associate

Is there a way to do more debugging than just with the debugging output
of wpasupplicant?
