Undefined reference to "hostapd_get_aid"

Hi. I added hostapd_get_aid  function in "ctrl_iface.c" but in the moment
of compiling and linking using "make"  I got l_iface.c:304: undefined
reference to `hostapd_get_aid'

How can I solve that? hostapd_get_aid belong to ieee802_11.c but
ctrl_iface.c already included the ieee802_11.h header.
