bridging speed

Wondering if anybody has any insight on where my bottleneck may be here :

STA iperf ?> AP running about 400 mb/s
AP (gigabit) ?> server (gigabit) iperf about 800 mb/s
but STA ?> server only about 165 mb/s



This is on a 3.14.0 kernel w/ hostpad 2.2. Using ath10k from backports
v3.16-rc1-1-0-g04d6077.

The bridge only has wlan0 and eth0 on it.
