Hostap issues after Centos 6.5 upgrade

Hello,

After Centos 6.5 upgrade (kernel -> 2.6.32-431.el6.x86_64), some of my 
wireless scripts stopped to working.

1. It seems that the directory /proc/net/hostap/wlan0 is now 
/proc/net/hostap/wlan%d/

2. Another thing I noticed, is that there is no more 
"/sys/class/net/wlan0/wireless" file and that's why the Centos 6.5 
wireless networking script stopped to working.

The question is that, are those things Centos bugs or is the kernel just 
changed?
