wlan0: Could not connect to kernel driver

Compare your 'interface modes' section to my one:
            Supported interface modes:
                 * IBSS
                 * managed
                 * AP
                 * AP/VLAN
                 * WDS
                 * monitor
                 * mesh point

It seems you driver doesn't offer AP mode with your device so you have
to ask the question to developers of the driver.
