About peer properties and IEs

Hi folks,

The method to get all peer properties on dbus is not
working because of the function to get the peer_ies is
not implemented. About this, I've a couple of questions.

First: It's really necessary (I mean, the peer's IEs) ?
Second: For what/when it's used ?
