Destination Host Unreachable

Hi all,

I have a pandaboard laying around and I wanted to make an AP out of it.
So I installed hostapd configured a bridge:

auto br1
iface br1 inet dhcp
  bridge_ports eth0

At first it didn't work but I found out I had to do: brctl addif br0 wlan0
I thought hostapd would do this for me. Is that right or should I run that manually? If so, is there a default way to script this?
