Thanks! I cleaned this up a bit by moving the SME specific code into
sme.c instead of exposing the timer functions to external code. In
addition, I increased the timeouts to five seconds just in case the
operations were to take some more time with some drivers. In theory,
this should not happen since the driver already has scan results
available for the BSS, but since the timeout here is really supposed to
be an exceptional case, it should not matter if we wait a bit longer
before recovering from it.
