join command

Hi
I have some questions about join command to autonomous group
1. do I need to run p2p_find command before I am runing the p2p_connet join
command ?
2. why wpas_p2p_add_group_interface done in wpas_p2p_join_start function and
not in wpas_p2p_join ?
3. Why there is no retries while failed to connect ?
