Other ap daemons

Do u you guys know of any other wireless access point software because
honestly compared to other Linux related things I have.worked with hostapd
seems to be incredibly unstable :/ plus support for it is pretty much non
existent, you guys never reply to any questions plus when I Google for
support forums for hostapd nothing ever turns up :(
