Advise for a small WDS

Hello list members

I would like to build a wireless network which should span over two
subnets (A: 192.168.2.0/24 and B: 192.168.1.0/24) Both subnets are
connected via one FreeBSD based (pfSense) router.

I have one linux computer within each subnet running hostapd (host_a:
192.168.2.10 and host_b: 192.168.1.10). Also there is a DHCP server
running on the FreeBSD router for subnet B and another DHCP server for
subnet A on host_a.

What set up can you recommend to have one ESSID clients can use to
connect to? Can you provide some example configurations?
