Hello Folk !
I have compiled wpa_supplicant-0.6.10. "uname -a" results in "Linux
localhost.localdomain 2.6.31.12-174.2.22.fc12.i686.PAE #1 SMP Fri Feb 19
19:10:04 UTC 2010 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux".
When trying to start wpa_supplicant using
"/usr/local/bin/wpa_supplicant -Dwext -iwlan0
-c/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf -d", the following message
appears:
Initializing interface 'wlan0' conf
'/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf' driver 'wext' ctrl_interface
'N/A' bridge 'N/A'
Configuration file '/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf' ->

Failed to add interface wlan0

Cancelling authentication timeout
What is wrong in this first line ? If I change it to a comment line, no
problem occurs, but no ctrl_interface is present, of course.
Thanks a lot !
Claude
