Dear folks,
Today we are using in our network enviroment arround 30 mikrotik
Access Points. This APs are configured with WPA2-PSK and radius mac
authentication. The WPA-PSK is returned to AP in the radreply packet
using Mikrotik-Wireless-Psk attribute. This way, the Pre Shared Keys
are stored in radius database.
we're thinking to start deploying Ubiquiti Rocket in our network, but
the management interface this device does not allow to set a radius
authentication server. After looking for help in the ubuquiti forum,
was suggested to adjust manually the radius paramenters inside
hostapd.conf.
So, is it possible use WPA-PSK returned by a radreply packet with
HostAP ?
bellow my hostapd.conf:
interface=ath0
bridge=br0
driver=wext
ieee8021x=1
wpa=2
macaddr_acl=2
auth_algs=1
wpa_key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
wpa_pairwise=CCMP
wpa_passphrase=********
# RADIUS authentication server
auth_server_addr=192.168.0.1
auth_server_port=1812
auth_server_shared_secret=*********
Thanks.
