Clean up Makefiles / Write proper documentation

Hey list,
I as a kind-of-distributor who wants to provide pre-built versions of
wpa_supplicant have a hard time figuring out what components of
wpa_supplicant are implicitly enabled or not, say CONFIG_EAP_MD5, from
what the README says, it doesn't appear in the list of "all EAP methods"
so one would think it's implicitly enabled but it isn't if I see it
correctly. Also I don't quite get which parts of the wpa_supplicant
package are experimental, stable , obsolete or belong to the hostap
portion of the source.
Also it appears that the configuration options cross-reference quite a lot.
Would it be possible to clean this stuff up a bit or write proper
documentation for it? Or am I the only one who doesn't understand the
build options? :)
Thanks for reading :D

If you still don't like it, that's ok: that's why I'm boss. I simply
know better than you do.
