Laptop crashes while sending message to hostAPD

Hello,

I am trying to use an SDIO based chip and have written linux drivers for
the same.

In STA mode it works fine but when I try to bring it up as an AP,

my laptop crashes when mac80211 tries to send received frame to hostapd
using call netif_rx.

 

Do we need to register or do any specific thing so that we can pass
management frames (ATUH/ASSOC) to hostAP?

I am using mac80211 from kernel 2.6.31.5.
