rt61 device works in master mode with hostapd 0.6.4 but not 0.6.7 or 0.7.0

Yes, it works now, even with WPA2! It probably worked even yesterday, but I
ran out of time checking it. Sorry, I was wrong about forgetting to compile
the nl80211 driver into hostapd. The problem must have been my older
installation of udev. It didn't even have the udevadm command. I got the
hint about udev from the post by  Luis Rodriguez on Feb 14th to thread
"wpa_supplicant/ath5k won't detect hidden SSID when
CONFIG_WIRELESS_OLD_REGULATORY disabled".

I now have udev  0.125-7 installed + crda. I'm not sure if crda is
necessary. After installing these programs, I get the allowed channels list
with hostapd 0.7.0:
