Hello All,
I have been using hostapd - and successfully so - on kernel version 2.6.27
(Ubuntu 8.04). I recently upgraded my kernel version to 2.6.30 and my client
is a Ubuntu 8.10 (2.6.28-14)
This is what happens:
*
rakesh at pineapple:~/Desktop/compat-wireless-2.6.31-rc4$ sudo hostapd
~/hostapd.conf
Configuration file: /home/rakesh/hostapd.conf
Using interface wlan0 with hwaddr 00:21:91:fb:91:46 and ssid 'test'
wlan0: STA 00:21:91:fb:91:3d IEEE 802.11: authenticated
wlan0: STA 00:21:91:fb:91:3d IEEE 802.11: associated (aid 1)
wlan0: STA 00:21:91:fb:91:3d RADIUS: starting accounting session
4A998D87-00000000
wlan0: STA 00:21:91:fb:91:3d IEEE 802.11: disassociated
wlan0: STA 00:21:91:fb:91:3d IEEE 802.11: deauthenticated due to inactivity
*It seems like I get associated and de-associated quickly. I don't know what
may be causing this, any hints/suggestions are welcome.
