hi guys,

i am looking for the cause and of course a solution to my problem. i get
a lot of
"wpa_cli: interface eth1 DISCONNECTED"
in the messages. apparently there is no pattern when this error occurs.
sometimes there are minutes sometimes hours between them. the notebook
is located approx. 5m from the linksys router and doesn't change the
position. there is 1 wall between sender and receiver.

some technical details:
network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI
ipw2100-firmware: 1.3
kernel: 2.6.27
os: gentoo linux
wpa_supplicant: 0.6.4 (-Dwext)
network={
        ssid="officer_aeryn_sun"
        scan_ssid=0
        proto=RSN
        key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
        pairwise=CCMP
        group=CCMP
        psk=verysecret
}
quality: 84

also there are only 2 other wireless networks in the neighborhood, i
would rule interferences coming from these out. this problem also occurs
on other wireless networks which i have access to.

Brgds and thnx for help
jan
