Hello Everyone
? I want to use 802.11r+hostapd, the?madwifi driver does not provide the
needed functionality. I tried ath5k (with a pending patch to enable AP mode),
for my access points using nl80211 driver and?build the wpa_supplicant with client MLME code
and used that to replace the implementation in mac80211, after getting wireless-testing
git tree and applying following two patches to it:
http://w1.fi/wireless-testing/userspace_mlme_allow_bssid_mismatch.patch
http://w1.fi/wireless-testing/vif_conf.patch
?
I get two different error, one on access point side and other on client side, which are given below.
Is there anybody working on 802.11r+hostapd. what can be the possible reasons for the error.
Should I try?a new driver ath9k, if yes. What patches would be required for ath9k, for hostapd and wpa_supplicant.
what is a basic difference between ath5k and ath9k with repect to hostapd (except 802.11n)
would you help me...............................
