Hello,
I've used wpa_supplicant for my wifi for a couple of years now, and I haven't
had trouble.
I just got a new laptop, I installed linux and wpa_supplicant on it.
On the old laptop, upon connecting I see:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2>Trying to associate with SSID 'ontaneda106'
> <2>Associated with 00:16:e3:a3:25:ca
<2>CTRL-EVENT-CONNECTED - Connection to 00:16:e3:a3:25:ca completed (reauth)
[id=0 id_str=]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the new one, I see this:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2>Trying to associate with SSID 'ontaneda106'
> <2>Associated with 00:16:e3:a3:25:ca
<2>CTRL-EVENT-CONNECTED - Connection to 00:16:e3:a3:25:ca completed (reauth)

And the connected message keeps repeating about once per second, and I can't
send dhcp requests.
Both laptops have Debian lenny, same kernel.
The wpa_supplicant.conf is identical for both laptops, and I'm using
ndiswrapper as a driver for both. The only difference I see is that the old
one is a Broadcom 43xx and the new one is an Atheros AR242x. Could that be
the problem?
Thanks for the help.
Rene
