It is from the Atheros AR6SDK V1.3.1 RC (the latest available to me)

I fixed handling of the SIOCGIWAP ioctl so that it returns zeros for the
BSSID when not
connected. This seems to solve the problem for some APs, but I fear there's
still issues
remaining.
