If NM were to support EAP-PSK/PAX/SAKE/GPSK, yes that would be needed. I
have not heard of anyone deploying these methods yet, so I did not
consider this change to be much of an issue at this point to justify
leaving backwards compatibility code for handling the old field names.

Sure, if there is real need for this (i.e., configuration for
EAP-PSK/PAX/SAKE/GPSK is also implemented).
