The main differences between prism2 (hfa3841) and prism2.5/3 (hfa3842) 
were in the bus interface and RF sections; the actual MAC itself is 
progmatically identical, though the occasional bug cropped up that 
affected one but not the other as they used different firmware.

There were some USB prism2 devices, but they were never commercially 
produced.  All commercial USB widgets were of the prism2.5 or prism3 varieies.

The main difference between Prism2.5 and Prism3 is that the latter 
combined the baseband+RF chips, reducing the cost considerably.  They 
later added the option of eliminating the large onboard flash, 
requiring a runtime firmware download.

I forget where I was going with all of this.  Oh, yeah, you could just 
call the driver 'hfa3842_usb' instead.
