Can't connect to WPA networks

Hello all.

I have a DELL Inspiron 1525, Network controller: Broadcom Corporation
BCM4328 802.11a/b/g/n (rev 03), and using ndiswrapper for the driver.
Have Fluxbuntu and ArchLinux installed. Fluxbuntu connects to everything,
but ArchLinux is only connecting to unsecure networks.
I use Wicd and it stops when autenticating to a WPA network.
When tring to open wpa_gui, it says:

"Failed to open control connection to wpa_supplicant.
PING failed - trying to reconnect
PING failed - trying to reconnect
..."


wpa_supplicant.conf :

ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
ctrl_interface_group=wheel

network={
    ssid="AREA51"
    #psk="blah"
    psk=blahblah
}
