Hi,
some more additional information:
With another ubuntu 7.04 server with a ralink-pci-card (Ethernet
controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ (rev
10)) the connect to the wpa-ap works like a charme (this card-drivers
have build-in wpa-support so no wpa_supplicant is needed).
The ubuntu 7.04 laptop (dell ispiron 8600) has a broadcom-card (Ethernet
controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4401 100Base-T (rev 01)). Here I
need wpa_supplicant and the connect does not work :-(
