yes it does.

All that you need is following network block in your .conf file

network={
      ssid="my_ssid"
      scan_ssid=1
      key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
      proto=WPA2
      pairwise=CCMP
      group=CCMP
      psk="my_psk_passphrase"
}
