W2K & PEAP & machine authentication ?

Hi I am new to using wpa_supplicant. I didnt find in
any docs if wpa_supplicant supports machine
authentication on Windows 2000 Pro, so does it?

Second problem is that we have deployed many 3Com
3CRDAG675 wireless cards (I suppose they have atheros
chipset) and I would like to use wpa_supplicant to
drive them. But when I try to run the wpa_supplicant
binary downloaded from the main page version 0.5.8 I
cant get it to work.

I tried installing WinPCAP 3.1 - 4.0 and run the
wpa_supplicant with command line options as follows:

wpa_supplicant.exe -i3Com -c wpa_supplicant.conf -d

But the supplicant loads and stops quickly. What could
be the problem. What I can understand from the log is
that probably WMI system component is not giving
enough information to wpa_supplicant. Thanks for any
help with this problem.
