What is the newest version of hostap-utils?? 0.4.7?? a replacement??

By the way, it's so helpful if you make some information about
building/installing/using hostap-utils.

I have downloaded it, 'tar -xzf' it and 'make', but found no way to
make it installed. After trying, I realized that after compiling, it
can be run directly without installing.

So an Install and Using tricks maybe good for a newbie like me.
