Hi,
I'm using a Broadcom card :
02:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g
Wireless LAN Controller (rev 03)
I'm using Broadcom driver and hostap driver from linux 2.6.17.7.
I'm using the snapshot : hostapd-0.5-2006-09-04.tar.gz
When I run hostapd,I get the following error :
debian:/# /etc/init.d/hostapd start
Starting advanced IEEE 802.11 management:
hostapdioctl[PRISM2_IOCTL_PRISM2_PARAM]: Invalid argument
rmdir[ctrl_interface]: No such file or directory
failed!
Which version of hostapd should I use with linux 2.6.17.7 ?
My wireless card is seen as eth1 instead of wlan0,is it normal ?
Regards
Stephane
