hello dan,

I have follow your advise (blacklist for orino* and hermes* modules in
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist file).
I reboot the linux box and do not see any wifi interface, in fact the dmesg
gives me :
Linux Tulip driver version 1.1.13 (May 11, 2002)
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:01:0e.0[A] -> GSI 22 (level, low) -> IRQ 201
tulip0:  MII transceiver #1 config 1000 status 786d advertising 01e1.
eth0: ADMtek Comet rev 17 at d0836c00, 00:04:E2:23:82:A7, IRQ 201.
8139cp: 10/100 PCI Ethernet driver v1.2 (Mar 22, 2004)
8139cp: pci dev 0000:01:08.0 (id 10ec:8139 rev 10) is not an 8139C+ compatible
chip
8139cp: Try the "8139too" driver instead.
8139too Fast Ethernet driver 0.9.27
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:01:08.0[A] -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 185
eth1: RealTek RTL8139 at 0xd08feb00, 00:50:fc:0c:5b:03, IRQ 185
eth1:  Identified 8139 chip type 'RTL-8139C'

hostap_plx: 0.4.4-kernel (Jouni Malinen <jkmaline at cc.hut.fi>)
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:01:0d.0[A] -> GSI 21 (level, low) -> IRQ 193

hostap_plx: CIS: 01 03 00 00 ff 17 ...
hostap_plx: invalid CIS data
Unknown PC Card CIS - not a Prism2/2.5 card?
...
eth0: Setting full-duplex based on MII#1 link partner capability of 45e1.
eth1: link up, 100Mbps, full-duplex, lpa 0x45E1

the most important lines are (i think) :
hostap_plx: 0.4.4-kernel (Jouni Malinen <jkmaline at cc.hut.fi>)

LX9052 PCI/PCMCIA adapter: mem=0xfcfff000, plx_io=0x7080, irq=193,
pccard_io=0x7040
hostap_plx: CIS: 01 03 00 00 ff 17 ...
hostap_plx: invalid CIS data
Unknown PC Card CIS - not a Prism2/2.5 card?

eth0 is my intranet network and eth1 is internet.

How is it possible to solve this problem as this card has already run under
kernel 2.4 + hostap ?

I have made photos of the card if you need it.

Thanks for help
Best regards
Philippe
