wpa_cli event handling (revisited)

Hi,

I'd just like to register my interest in having a string to identify a 
network scheme, exported to wpa_cli as a shell variable, as discussed in 
a previous thread:

This would facilitate a method of mapping networks configured for use 
with wpa_supplicant to some ifupdown interface/network stanza's, 
something which would be very useful for a few interested debian people.
